There's no point asking us for a Brochure, because we haven't got one! We're trying to reduce paper consumption, so instead, we've made this lovely website. Please read below to find out the moral reasons as to why you should go paper-less.
FACT: It takes 1 Tree to make 17 reams of paper. How many reams of paper do you use in a year? Wouldn't it be nice if you could shout about how many trees you hadn't contributed to being chopped down?
FACT: Deforestation is responsible for one fifth of Greenhouse Gas emissions. How would it feel, knowing that your business has no contribution to the destruction of vital Rainforest environments? Not only are trees being felled in their hundreds, but species of wildlife are set to be wiped out in their thousands if deforestation continues as it is doing so. Forests store half of the world's terrestrial carbon. (In other words, they are extremely important "carbon sinks" that hold onto pollution that would otherwise be released into the Atmosphere and contribute towards global warming.)
FACT: The production and use of paper has a number of adverse effects on the environment which are known collectively as paper pollution. Pulp mills contribute to air, water and land pollution. If more people used paper-less solutions, the effects on the environment from these emissions would be reduced, making the planet a safer, healthier place for us all to live.
